Cherry Blossom Festival in Waimea, Hawaii--and My Book Signing
This year, the annual Cherry Blossom Festival in Waimea will be held on February 1st. For 20 years now, this "hanami"--or flower viewing--event celebrates the coming of Spring and the Japanese cherry blossoms in the center of town. (The blossoms arrive earlier in Hawaii than in Japan.)
For those of you who will be on the Big Island, I will have a book signing at the Historic Spencer House from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM on Feb 01.
