Happy Birthday, Elaine Fischel

Elaine Fischel, was a member of the American legal team that defended Japan's top admirals and the Emperor's political advisor at the Tokyo War Crimes Trial. She wrote Defending the Enemy seven years ago to share her experience about working on behalf of people she once considered "the evil enemy".

Elaine celebrated her 94th birthday on April 9th.
