Governor Neil Abercrombie at My Book Signing
We had perfect weather for the Waimea Cherry Blossom Festival on February 1st, and many people were at my book signing.
One of the visitors was Governor Neil Abercrombie--who I met when he was a US Congressman. He still has the energy, charm and feistiness that were hallmarks of his successful transition from academia to politics and have shaped his career as a leader. And now he has autographed copies of my books!
Another honored visitor was Judge Nelson Doi, former Lieutenant Governor of Hawaii, now retired on the Big Island.
